Details: Summary of Job Function This position is with TSYS Healthcare which supports healthcare related transactions for FSAs, HRAs, and HSAs as well as other benefit account types including Dependent Care, Transit and Parking. The Healthcare Product Director will actively develop and support new healthcare functionality and products at TSYS.  The Healthcare Product Director's key objective is to lead the definition of requirements for new products and meet business objectives with input from key stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting market research and competitive analysis, analyzing customer experience, defining product features and functionality, defining business requirements, developing and implementing timelines and support materials, and creating and maintaining a product development roadmap. This position will be required to interact with multiple disciplines within the organization to implement various aspects of the TSYS Healthcare product.  As part of the development life cycle, the Healthcare Product Director is also responsible for management of the user acceptance testing (UAT) process for each project originating from the Healthcare Product group.  In addition, the Healthcare Product Director may be required to support other functional areas and activities including client interaction/communication, acting as a Healthcare subject matter expert, supporting Sales as needed, including assisting with RFP responses.   §  Collaborate with company business leaders, product delivery, sales, and relationship management teams to define product goals, objectives, market positioning, and pricing strategies for each assigned product.  Comply with established methodology for managing product strategy.  Develop comprehensive business cases for new product functionality to serve as inputs to decision-making, prioritization, pricing, and client value proposition.  Use analytical skills to assimilate complex data and concepts.   Own, manage, and communicate a product roadmap for each assigned product, including collaborating with delivery, sales, and relationship management teams on prioritization, development and ongoing costs of delivery, and market positioning.   Follow a structured, repeatable process for conducting online servicing market research, to include industry publications, analyst research, experiential research, client surveys, etc.  Develop and maintain a strategic planning approach for summarizing and communicating the results of aggregate research.   Facilitate product concept and requirements workshops with clients and internal development teams in pursuit of product requirements, objectives, and architecture decisions.  Document workshop results in a format suitable for consumption by all audiences, including interactive review and feedback from clients and internal parties.   Collaborate with product delivery and technology architecture to validate detailed design, particularly to ensure that product objectives and key requirements are met.  Provide design direction, testing support, and general assistance to delivery team as needed during the execution phase of product development.   Use analytical skills to define pricing strategies for new and existing products, to include consideration of competitive pricing models, internal costs, value proposition metrics (e.g. savings to clients, process costs, etc.), and market acceptance and adoption rates.  Define alternative models complete with benefits, and present final pricing recommendations to executive management for adoption.    Collaborate with product marketing to develop product marketing strategies based on established product objectives, costs, and value proposition.  Assist with and review research with product marketing to quantify value proposition for inputs to pricing analysis and marketing collateral.   Coordinate directly with TSYS Marketing and external providers to deliver associated marketing collateral.  Work directly with sales and relationship management, as well as other appropriate entities, to educate team members on product opportunities, selling points, competitive landscape and value proposition.   Establish and implement a structured, repeatable methodology for assimilating industry competitive intelligence that can be used as part of the product strategic planning process.   Consult with sales representatives and clients during the sales process to define appropriate solutions mix for clients’ business objectives, and to educate prospects on the product functionality and value proposition.   Cultivate key senior client relationships for use in market assessments and product opportunities.   Travel to client sites and industry events (approximately 10% travel), both domestically and internationally.
